• FACE TO FACE WITH GOD

In Exodus 33:11 it says that the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. Then, later, in John 15:15 when Jesus comes to reveal the Father and invite his disciples into the Love they have he says that he no longer calls them servants, but friends, because everything that he heard from the Father he had made known to them.

Surely God is still seeking friendship. Surely He will still go to any length to know us and be known by us. Even to the point of sacrificing His own son. His invitation is out "I want to know you!" The question we need to ask ourselves is: "Do I want to know God for who He really is?

To what lengths are we willing to go to know Him as He desires to be known? To know him as a man knows His Friend, face to face.

The 101 on Step 1 – Just ask

You do not have because you do not ask. (James 4:3) Jesus was quite clear on how we should understand the Father. It was quite simple… The Father loves you! Over and over and over Jesus revealed this reality to His disciples and the people that followed Him. Even the signs and wonders he did … Continue reading

The 101 on Step 1 – HOW to let the Lord love you?

In my previous post I looked at the first and fundamental aspect of Christianity – the entire kit and kabudal – and it is the foundation upon which the Christian life is built – Letting the Lord love you. Although this is really the basis of Christian life, so many Christians move on from it after initially meeting … Continue reading

The purpose of the scriptures

The bible can be a confusing place. So many different letters and books, written by so many different people at different times in history to various groups of different people. Hundreds of thousands of written scriptures, all God breathed, yet many of them seemingly contradictory. The bible is a challenging read to say the least, …

Honour the LOVE you have, and you will get more…

The Tree of Life – Literal, Symbolic, or Both…?

A while back I asked the readers of this blog to give me their “2 cents” on what they thought the Tree of Life is. The idea was that I would incorporate these comments into upcoming blog posts about the Tree of Life. There were a range of different answers all focusing on different elements. And since then … Continue reading

How do our Spiritual Bodies work?

This is a picture of two drawings that Leonardo da Vinci made when he started asking this very question, but just for the physical body.
